Joint measures for green infrastructure

The project activities encompass:
- construction works for flood defense and procurement of equipment for sanitation of rivers,
- measures for natural water retention on the territories of Knjazevac and Rila Municipalities,
- joint trainings on flood risk prevention and management to improve disaster resilience of the population,
- exchange of experience to enhance the effective collaboration in risk management on Programme level.The project outputs and results are:
- supplied equipment in Knjazevac Municipality,
- a supporting wall built on the Rila River banks,
- afforested areas in both municipalities.
- improved capacity of local specialists on joint risk management,
